What Customers Say.
Melissa Barnes
Excellent experience. Very kind people. Did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this company.
Julie Vancoutren
Best experience I've ever had with a contractor. I hired them to come and run a 30 amp plug for my new RV and they were kind enough to not only do that job but to help me get the new RV all figured out. I would recommend these guys any day of the week.
Steven Gresswell
Joe is a man you can trust. He was by far the most reasonable electrician as well. He did not find any extra work and was actually below his estimate. He was there the same day I called.
Johnny Lonardo
When you serve God you learn to operate not as the world does but how God would have you, and this is what is most important about this company. They love people and care in a way that means more than the money.
Johnny Thiele
Let There Be Light: very knowledgeable. Great price. Very clean when they left.
FAQ
Before You Call.
Do You Replace Control Panels?
Yes. Switching and replacing control panels includes repairs, residential breaker boxes, 200-amp upgrades, commercial service panels, and meter can replacement. Call if breakers trip and will not reset, the panel buzzes or smells hot, or the box is old enough that the breakers are no longer trustworthy.
Do You Install and Service Generators?
Yes. That includes new home installations, repairs, yearly maintenance, disconnects, and transfer switches. Service is recommended at least once a year, or after about 100 hours of run time. Call sooner if it is noisy, hard to start, or the power drops in and out.
Do You Update Light Fixtures and Fans?
Yes. Updating and replacing light fixtures and ceiling fans is regular work, from one fan to a whole room. A licensed electrician should make the connection so it is safe and up to code.
When Should I Call an Electrician?
Call if lights flicker, breakers trip often, outlets are dead, you smell heat at a panel, or part of the building has no power. Those are not do-it-yourself jobs.
Where Do You Work?
St. Tammany, Jefferson, and Orleans Parishes, including Mandeville, Covington, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Slidell, Lacombe, Bush, Metairie, Kenner, New Orleans, and Chalmette. Work also extends across southwest and southeast Louisiana, north Louisiana, and southwest and southeast Mississippi.
How Much Does a Service Call Cost?
The fee depends on where you are and what the job is. Call (504) 729-8902 and describe the problem for a straight estimate.
Do You Offer Emergency Service?
Yes. Emergency electrical service is available 24 hours for problems that should not wait until the next business day.
How Soon Can You Get Here?
As soon as the schedule allows, including same-day appointments when one is open. Call and ask what is available.
What Payment Do You Take?
Cash, checks, and major credit cards.
Are Estimates Free?
Yes. Call (504) 729-8902, say where you are, and describe the job. You will get an estimate before anyone starts work.
Do You Finance Larger Jobs?
Financing is available on projects over $5,000 for customers who qualify. Ask when you call.
How Do I Know If a House Needs Rewiring?
Frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, a burning smell, knob-and-tube wiring, or aluminum wiring are reasons to have it looked at. If the house is more than about 40 years old, an inspection is the right first step. A full rewire can take a few days to a couple of weeks, and most people stay in the house while it is done.
